3rd September 2007 - Making Camp at the Airport.

All arose at 04:30am to make an early dash for the airport and fly into the remote mountain airstrip of Lukla. Unfortunately, Lukla was in cloud; and as we write this it still is!!

Yes, we've had to return to the Kathmandu hotel for the night following a long day spent in the bustling, departure lounge. Whilst the delays and long wait could have been tedious, we had some teambuilding time as a group; improvising games with trek boots and a tennis ball - and generally drawing curious attention to the team!
